Buddy & Budder CP51
A social game website for 100 CP51 students — participants receive hints about their secret buddy and guess who their budder is across multiple phases.
Overview
A web-based social game built for CP51 — a batch of 100 Computer Engineering students at Chulalongkorn University. Each participant is secretly paired with a buddy and a budder. The website progressively reveals hints across multiple phases, and players guess who their budder is before the final reveal. I was responsible for the backend, while a teammate handled the frontend.
Features
- Phase-based game flow — the backend controls what content is revealed at each stage
- Hint delivery system — each player receives clues about their buddy over time
- Guess mechanic — players submit who they think their budder is
- Supports 100 concurrent participants
My Role
I designed and implemented the backend, including the game state management, phase progression logic, and APIs consumed by the frontend.
